-Mindfulness assemblies for all ages, including parents, teachers, adults and students.
-Mindfulness is about noticing, with curiosity, what is happening within and around us in the present moment.
-Through mindful awareness, we notice the emotions, thoughts & sensations that we are experiencing within our bodies & minds.
-The more we notice with curiosity, the more we learn about how our environment is affecting our inner world and what we need to do to bring our nervous system back into balance.
-Through mindfulness we learn how to calm our nervous system and when we understand how to calm our nervous system, we are empowered and able to take better care of ourselves.
Mindful breathing & awareness techniques have been studied and shown to improve well-being, to reduce anxiety and increase life satisfaction and success.
MINDFULNESS ASSEMBLIES
-Mindfulness Assemblies are experiential!
-We learn and practice mindful noticing in the present moment.
-In the present moment, we notice what is happening within us (breath, emotions, thoughts and tension or calm in the body and mind.)
-We notice the effects of kindness and compassion for ourselves & others
-We notice what is happening in our environment and how that affects how we feel.
-We listen to music, look at images, listen to nature sounds, move our bodies and practice simple breathing techniques. Â As we do, we notice what shifts within us as our environment changes.
